North Country Cheviot Blanket - From Fleece To Finished Product

Presenting our exclusive North Country Cheviot Blanket meticulously crafted from premium North Country Cheviot wool, carefully selected from Dalrachie Farm, conveniently situated a mere 12 miles away from Knockando Woolmill.

Sourcing the wool directly from the farm means we can follow the journey from lamb to skein, and helps us ensure we are producing a sustainable product of the highest quality possible.

Processing wool from local North Country Cheviot sheep carries on a 230 year tradition that has been at the heart of our district mill for generations.

The wool has been carded and spun on the Mill's Grade A listed machinery dating from 1870 - 1910. 

A limited run of 10 blankets have been woven on site on our 1989 Dornier loom.
