Taster Weaving Workshop

Book in for our Taster Weaving Workshop this summer and create your very own piece of fabric!

Programme:

• Arrive to a 4 shaft loom warped with approximately a metre of yarn ready for you to start weaving.
• Choose a weft colour or colours from the yarns selected for you.
• Learn to wind your shuttle.
• Learn the basic twill weave.
• Learn a plain/tabby weave.
• Experiment with other combinations of the heddles.
• Try different colour combinations.
• Leave with a piece of fabric that you have woven, ready for a wet finish and then either display or keep on make into something
